100% Because LH is the better marketing tool from a business perspective. Absolutely no debate there. Hence my point that any argument by anyone trying to state otherwise, is really silly. Do you disagree and feel that Christian doesn't prefer Max winning? If you do, please tell us where you think you see proof to support your argument? There is plenty of proof supporting the other opinion of him preferring Max. And before you reply with "no wait you give proof" please note this isn't a school parking lot. The ? army won't get that. It's the reverse of Hamilton Bottas era where they pestered the Mercedes fans about the same thing. Now it's turned around and they all of a sudden don't see it being an issue. Human nature, or pure idiocy? A slower car can only win if the faster car has reliability issues, or pure bad luck. Bottas is by no means a great driver, but consistently outscored Maximus the lion tamer during 2017 to 2020. Your point is mute ?11-05-2023 17:14

This always goes full circle. At the top, you protect the advantage. At the bottom you try to remove the advantage. Apart from engineering your way to the top (more expensive and cost of opportunity is massive) pegging the other team back is time consuming, yet cheap. This has been F1 since the first race.
